Historical aspect & Spagyric EH System
The historical aspect and the Spagyric EH system are interconnected. The Spagyric method, rooted in alchemy, involves the extraction of healing properties from plants. This practice, which dates back to ancient traditions, emphasizes the full release of a plant's potential through specific preparation techniques.
This holistic medicine system was developed in the late 19th century by Count Cesare Mattei. It combines the principles of homeopathy with the novel concept of electrical energy derived from natural elements, believed to be therapeutic in Spagyric philosophy. Despite its historical popularity and the establishment of dedicated journals and publications, Electrohomeopathy (EH) has faced growing scrutiny from the scientific and medical communities. It is regarded as a natural method, with its practices, referred to as spagyric, grounded in evidence and the fundamental principles of nature.
Unfortunately, following the founder's death, his devoted disciple Krauss took over the system. The world wars led to a loss of followers and a diminished presence in the UK, Europe, and beyond. Nevertheless, rooted in age-old principles, the system is now regaining global popularity. It has been practiced alongside homeopathy and spagyric systems in Germany, enduring for over a century in some European countries under various names or as part of homeopathy. Thanks to Dr. Satya Paul, his student Vinod Kumar, and numerous followers in the UK, the system has been revitalized and is progressing.
In the German homeopathic pharmacopeia, the spagyric method post-Krauss is directly related to the period after Mattei's electro-homeopathy and later evolved into the Electro Complex homeopathy known as JSO Homeopathy.
Why is it called Spagyric therapy?
From the beginning, this system has been frequently misunderstood and incorrectly linked with other medical systems, especially Homeopathy. Yet, it is based on unique principles that differentiate its application and approach from all other systems. Moreover, the EH system originated from Spagyric, a time-honored method of preparing medicine. As proponents of EH, we dedicate ourselves to reviving the authentic and overlooked identity of this distinctive system.
We adhered to the original principles established by the founder and distinguished this system's category as spagyric, not merely herbal, homeopathic, or individually crafted spagyric medicines, hence we renamed it SPAGYRIC THERAPY EH SYSTEM.
Is this system similar to homeopathy, herbal medicine, or Spagyric practices?
NO, not at all. Homeopathic and spagyric single or different combinations are symptomatic, while the founder of Spagyric Therapy, EH, created remedies based on organopathy, which is physio-anatomically and biologically grounded in the human organism.
Herbal preparations are derived from herbs without dilution or potency, unlike spagyric methods, which involve alchemical processes to create herbal medicines, such as adding a plant's ash to its extract.
Homeopathy uses an alcohol-based mother tincture, plants, animal nosodes, and usually a single component in high potency, ranging from 3x to 10m.
Conversely, Electro Homeopathy utilizes a water-based spagyric extract containing only the plant's essential oils and mineral salts. These components—alcohol, essential oil, and electrolytes—are mixed and filtered to produce the spagyric essence, typically used in D4 dilution.
For example,
the Aconite herb in Homeopathy is used alone and in high potencies like 3x, 6x, 12x, 30c, 200c, 1m, 10m, for treating shock and nervous disorders.
In EH, however, it is combined with other components in D4 or D12 to address fever, nerve pain, and nervous heart conditions.
The market for herbal products is growing quickly, yet not all herbal products meet the criteria for Ayurvedic medicines. Likewise, original homeopathy as developed by Hahnemann differs from complex Homeopathy or biochemical salts, though it is still categorized as homeopathy. Consequently, a single spagyric extract should not be deemed EH spagyric, and a single spagyric medicine does not comply with the EH principles set forth by Count Mattei or Krauss.
Hence, no individual spagyric medicine should be labeled as Electro Homeopathy medicine.
How is it different from other systems?
This system sets itself apart through its integration of diverse laws and applications, enhancing therapeutic effectiveness. The internal collaboration produces synergy effects. Spagyric herbalism is distinguished by its alchemical origins and holistic approach.
